We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) Physician proficient in Spanish or Portuguese to join our client’s healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide culturally competent care to our diverse patient population, contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in Spanish or Portuguese, ensuring clear and culturally sensitive discussions regarding their health concerns.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and support holistic well-being.
  • Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and contribute to a collaborative care model.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in providing healthcare services to a diverse patient population.
  • Understand and address the unique healthcare needs of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking communities.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
  • Promote patient engagement in their own healthcare through effective communication and education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, participating in clinical audits and peer review processes.
  • Stay informed about evidence-based practices and emerging trends in primary care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, with the ability to conduct medical discussions in either language, required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse patient populations.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $180k to $220k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
