Locums – St. Louis, Missouri, Family Medicine (Urgent Care) Opening Clinical Role:

- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- 10 Providers Requested
- Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8-hour shifts) Physicians will not be granted any overtime
- Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shifts
- Preference also to local physicians, since this is an ongoing assignment
- Available to work in centers throughout St. Louis
- Can schedule 4 shifts in a row
- 36-48 Patients Per Shift
- 4 Beds in Facility
- Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics
- Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IV
- Must be comfortable with EMR. Epic training will be provided but cannot be provided prior to clearing credentialing and onboarding
- Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED BY AMBS (American Board of Medical Specialties or AOB American Osteopathic Board
- Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)
- Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible (BE if within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required)
- Board certification must be obtained during appropriate eligibility time frame
- COVID is "highly" recommended. The flu vaccine will be required beginning of this year - unless there is an exemption
- BLS Required
- EMR: Epic
