AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a board certified/board eligible family medicine physician to join an existing practice in Lake Wales, Florida.

Job Responsibilities

At work, you will experience:
• Work Life Balance Schedule. No weekend office hours.
• Practice call only. No hospital rounding. Nurse triage support for call coverage.
• Patient Census. Expect to see between 20-24 patients per day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record.
• Dedicated Admin Time. 4 hours weekly.
• Flex Scheduling. 4- or 5- day work schedule.
• Clinic Support Team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA), front office staff, and a practice administrator.
• Specialty Network. Comprehensive team of specialists and ancillary services available to provide full spectrum of care for your patients’ needs.
• Clinical Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
• Environment. Our office is intentionally designed to meet the needs of our patients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
• Board Certification in Family (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency
program)
• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedures
