Job Description:

Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As an integral part of our community-based healthcare organization, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Your responsibilities will include routine check-ups, health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, including acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Promote preventive healthcare by emphasizing vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, nutrition, exercise, and risk reduction.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease.
• Monitor patients’ progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.
• Assess and stabilize patients with urgent medical needs.
• Determine appropriate interventions and referrals.
• Work closely with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and behavioral health clinicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussion

Qualifications

• Active and up-to-date License, DEA & Furnishing License
• No prior suspension, revocation, or probation on licensure
• Minimum of 3 consecutive months of full-time work
• Board Eligible/Certified in the relevant field (Physician who is a recent graduate must be Board Certified within 3 years of graduation)
• Candidates must hold a California license and be Board Certified within 3 years of graduation
• Minimum 1 year (recent) experience in the relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of locum work (Midlevels)
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8am -4:30pm
