Our client is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their locally owned outpatient practice in Granite City, IL

Position Highlights:

• Full-time Outpatient Family Medicine opportunity
• Adult and pediatric patient population; the group has a NP who sees pediatric patients, so IM boarded physicians are welcome to apply
• Group currently includes 1 physician and 1 Nurse Practitioner in addition to support staff.
• $240,000 base salary working 32-35 hours/week+ benefits
• 4 day work weeks Mon-Thurs- 3 DAY WEEKENDS EVERY WEEK
• No on call duties
• You will receive a comprehensive orientation from a physician who has been with the practice for 20+ years.

Position Requirements:

• MD or DO
  
• Active Illinois medical license or willingness to apply for Illinois medical license through the Interstate Medical Compact (IMLC) process which takes about 8 weeks to complete start to finish
• BC or BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

ABOUT Our Client and the position

Our client has been in business since 1988 and is locally owned and operated by clinicians. The outpatient clinic is state of the art and located in Granite City, IL, which is in the St. Louis metro area, about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. The group has had very little internal attrition over the past 20 years but has a physician who has been with the practice since the early 2000s planning to retire. This position is to replace the physician who is retiring. The physician hired will be inheriting an established practice and entering into a very positive, team-oriented scenario.
