Family Medicine Opening in Oregon (Residency Program)_x000D_ Newport, Oregon_x000D_ _x000D_ Family Medicine Residency Program is recruiting for a core faculty physician in Oregon_x000D_ It is expected that the core faculty member allocates 60 percent of their time, 24 hours per week, to residency core faculty duties (academic) and 12 hours per week of patient scheduled practice (clinical)._x000D_ _x000D_ Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care._x000D_ _x000D_ Academic Job Specifics_x000D_ _x000D_ Provide adequate levels of supervision to residents in the clinical setting appropriate to their level of competency and training._x000D_ Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure that the administration of the residency program is within accreditation standards, that residency graduates are eligible for board certification, and the program is utilizing resources in a prospective and cost-efficient manner._x000D_ Curriculum development, coordination and implementation and presentation of didactics and educational sessions_x000D_ Facilitate the majority of these educational conferences with contributions from other family medicine faculty, community faculty members or specialty faculty as appropriate_x000D_ Engage in any or all areas of scholarship and promotion of inquiry.
