Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 24 physicians with the support of a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
- Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certified/eligible in family medicine, with the expectation of obtaining certification.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in California.
- We welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or physicians with experience desiring a career change.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- This is a part-time hospitalist/faculty position with various flexible scheduling options.
Key Responsibilities:
- In addition to the hospitalist role core faculty responsibility working with family medicine residents.
- We work in an open ICU setting with 24/7 intensivist coverage. Our team is not required to do procedures.
- We encourage our team to participate in hospital committees and the community.
- We gather frequently for lunch and monthly for team meetings.

- Compensation: Expected annual base compensation for this part-time role is $160k – $180k with opportunity for quality and productivity bonuses.
