This is Malen at Provider Healthcare. I am representing a health center in WA that has a permanent need for a Family Physician. Job Responsibilities
treatment of both chronic and acute episodic illnesses and minor injuries.
- Writes prescriptions and performs minor office procedures within the scope of
expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
-Educates patients and families and helps them understand issues related to physical and
emotional health.
- Participates in health promotional activities.
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations
including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as
X-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results.
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations,
suturing, and managing wounds and infections.
Qualifications
- Appropriate certification, credentialing
- Required to maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
- Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboard,
email communication and password management.
