Job Description

A Los Angeles based clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate family practice physician to join a collaborative, outpatient practice working as the CMO. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience practicing medicine. This a 100% on site position in a busy environment, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable managing and overseeing many providers and 99% of the role will consist of administration work. This role involves collaboration and leading the clinic's full staff ( 20 Physicians, 80 mid-level providers, and nursing staff.)

Required Qualifications

• CA medical license as an MD or DO
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Board certification or board eligible in family practice
• CA DEA certificate before start date
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care to patients of all ages
• Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics
• Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary
