  • Other Details: The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care in a community health setting, managing patients of all ages (newborns to geriatrics) with up to 18 daily visits, including chronic disease management, acute/walk-in care, and basic procedures (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care). They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees. Candidates must be board-certified, hold an active WA license and DEA, have at least two years of FNP experience with recent face-to-face patient contact, and maintain a clean background. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a three-month contract and possible extension. Credentialing takes 2-3 weeks, and candidates must be available to start within four weeks. Proficiency in EPIC EMR and the ability to integrate quickly into a fast-paced environment are essential, with Spanish or Russian language skills being a plus. COVID and flu vaccinations are required.

Job Responsibilities

The Provider will provide comprehensive outpatient care, including family medicine, chronic disease management, acute/walk-in care, and basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. They will manage a patient panel across all age groups (newborns to geriatrics), seeing up to 18 patients per day in a fast-paced setting. The role includes working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and pediatricians. The provider must be comfortable with EPIC EMR and begin patient care by day three after a brief orientation.

Qualifications

Candidates must be board-certified with an active WA medical license and WA DEA. A minimum of two years of experience with face-to-face patient contact in the past year is required. A clean background with no malpractice history is mandatory. Certifications such as BLS or ACLS may be required upon credentialing. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required. COVID and flu vaccinations are mandatory.

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 40-hour workweek and an unpaid one-hour lunch. The contract is for three months with the possibility of extension. Credentialing takes approximately 2-3 weeks, and candidates must be available to start within four weeks of presentation.
