This position requires coverage Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with rotating 4-hour administrative time during the workweek, totaling 36 hands-on contact hours per week. Coverage is needed due to extreme staffing shortages, with the team operating at 50% capacity. The role does not involve ICU/CCU or ventilator management but does require procedures such as joint injections, incisions and drainage, and wound evaluations. The patient population consists of 10% pediatrics, 40% adults, and 50% geriatrics, with an average of 16 patients per provider daily. There is no on-call requirement, and the team includes two APPs and six clinical support staff.

Job Responsibilities

- Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population (10% pediatrics, 40% adults, 50% geriatrics).
- Perform required procedures, including joint injections, incisions & drainage, and wound evaluations.
- Manage an average of 16 patients per day.
- Collaborate with two APPs and six clinical support staff.
- Work in a high-demand environment due to staffing shortages (50% provider shortage).
- Ensure continuity of care with no ICU/CCU or ventilator management responsibilities.
- No on-call duties required.
