Job Description

Reading Hospital, named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals, is seeking a passionate BC/BE Family Medicine Core Faculty member for the Family Medicine Residency Program. We are also a Core Clerkship site for medical students from the Drexel University College of Medicine.

This position includes a mix of ambulatory and hospitalist medicine, working with a diverse patient population. The faculty member will also supervise residents in a nursing home setting approximately one half-day per month. Call requirements are reasonable to ensure a healthy work life balance.

Candidates must be willing and able to provide both ambulatory and hospitalist care, including leading the resident inpatient team and managing patients in the hospital on the FM service approximately 1 in every 8 weeks.

Qualifications for Applicants

  • MD or DO
  • Graduated from an accredited Family Medicine residency program
  • BC/BE in Family Medicine
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
