We are seeking a Locum Family Practice Physician to join its outpatient clinic in Everett, WA. This role is ideal for providers passionate about working with diverse and underserved populations in a community health setting. The physician will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including chronic disease management, acute care services, and preventive health measures.
  • Provide outpatient family medicine care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
  • Manage walk-in/acute care services and chronic disease treatment.
  • Perform basic procedures, including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
  • Maintain a daily patient volume of up to 21 patients, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatricians.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
  • Support and advocate for vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees.
  • Participate in orientation and quickly adapt to clinic workflows.
  • Credentialing timeframe: 2–3 weeks.
  • Orientation provided, with patient care expected to begin by day three.
  • Minimum of 3-month contract, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

Board Certification: Required.
Active Washington State Medical License: Required.
DEA Certification for WA: Required.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Family Practice Physician.
Must have face-to-face patient contact within the past year.
Clean background with no history of malpractice claims.
Experience in community health settings is preferred.
Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required.
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory.

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
40 hours per week with a one-hour unpaid lunch.
No on-call responsibilities.
Overtime approved only if daily productivity expectations are exceeded or with pre-approval.

Skills

Strong ability to manage a high patient volume in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with outpatient ambulatory care and community health services.
Excellent communication and cultural competency when working with diverse populations.
Proficiency in Epic EMR.
Competence in basic family medicine procedures.
