Join Our Family Medicine Practice in Algona, Iowa!

We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with OB Fellowship training to join our thriving practice in Algona. This busy facility is part of a regional health system covering 14 counties, providing comprehensive healthcare within a supportive community. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide family medicine care including surgical obstetrics, emergency care, and hospitalist services.
• Perform C-sections as part of your responsibilities.
• Participate in a busy, high-volume practice.
• Collaborate with 8 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers.
• Take OB/Hospitalist call on a 1:9 rotation; C-section call on a 1:3 rotation.
• Utilize on-site specialists and services including Cardiology, Urology, GI, and imaging options.
• Engage with the community and foster strong patient relationships.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (with plans to become Board Certified within 1 year) or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Completion of an OB Fellowship prior to starting.
• Ability and interest in performing C-sections.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Iowa medical license or be eligible for IMLC.
• DEA and Controlled Substance Registration must be obtained.
