Details:

• Shifts: 7 AM - 7 AM (24-hour shifts)
• Duration: Stretches of at least 7 days/month
• Assignment: Physician will work in a clinic during the week seeing OB/GYN patients for:
  • New obstetrics
  • Established obstetrics
  • New gynecology issues
  • Surgical consultations
• Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries. Call is 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM and includes all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases.
• Setting: Clinic and Inpatient Call
• FTE: 0
• Required Procedures/Job Duties:
  • All OB/GYN procedures
  • Minimum of 5 C-sections and 5 hysterectomies in the last 24 months
  • FMOBs: 100 C-sections and 50 deliveries minimum
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN
• Physicians work with CRNAs and midwives
• Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage
• Dealbreakers: Will NOT consider candidates wishing to do clinic only

EMR Required Training:

• Module (learn lessons): Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
• EMR Virtual Training: Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed before the provider’s first day and is only available Monday-Friday for scheduling.

Travel Preferences:

• Preferred Lodging: Hotel must be within 15 minutes of the hospital
• Air Travel: Acceptable
