Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to our diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a key member of our medical staff, you will collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to uphold our center's mission of providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
Essential Duties

- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including health assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and maintain detailed, problem-oriented health records.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in compliance with state regulations and professional guidelines.
- Ensure continuity of care through timely follow-ups and effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and coordinate referrals for specialized care when necessary.
- Review and act upon diagnostic reports promptly, including lab results, x-rays, and EKGs.
- Participate in health promotion and education initiatives, including community outreach programs and health fairs.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of medical protocols and practices.
- Mentor and supervise medical students, support staff, and mid-level practitioners as appropriate.
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and center functions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Current, unrestricted state medical license
• Active DEA certification
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in primary care settings
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Two or more years of experience working with diverse patient populations
• Track record of implementing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare programs
