The University of Missouri's Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a dedicated and dynamic faculty physician practice Family Medicine with Obstetrics with our prestigious team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while engaging in an academically enriching environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive family medicine services with a focus on obstetrics, including prenatal care, labor, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Teach, mentor, and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to scholarly activities within the department.
  • Implement innovative practices to improve patient care and departmental operations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • A valid Missouri medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in obstetrics.
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence and teaching.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
