Memorial Medical Center is excited to invite a dynamic Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join our dedicated team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping future family medicine physicians while enjoying the charm of Southern living in Las Cruces, New Mexico—the state’s second-largest city.
Our program is designed to provide collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care with a strong focus on social medicine and community health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Program Director to develop residency infrastructure, including curriculum design and resident recruitment.
- Supervise outpatient primary care, office procedures, precepting, didactic teaching, and mentoring of residents.
- Dedicate 70% of your time to teaching and administrative duties and 30% to clinical care.
- Deliver full-spectrum family medicine care, including inpatient medicine and obstetric services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring residents.
- Experience or interest in curriculum development and program growth is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in inpatient medicine and obstetrics is required.
