Full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty Practice Opportunity in Southern Georgia-
Community teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia with thriving physician group!
ABOUT THE PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:
This Residency Program is currently seeking a full-time, core faculty member to provide direct care
to clinic patients, educate residents through precepting and formal teaching, perform advising and
curricular duties, participate in program committees, and perform other duties to maintain the
program’s mission of providing the highest standard of medical care to a diverse population in a rural
community and training dedicated physicians who promote and support the ideals of family medicine.
•Guaranteed salary is competitive starting at a range of $220 – 240K; negotiable if significant
GME experience or special training such as fellowship in Geriatrics or Sports Medicine, or other
Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in special areas such as addiction medicine, palliative
care, hyperbaric medicine, etc.
•Facility details: The new state-of-the-art, 14,000 sq. ft. Medical Education Center, which
includes the Family Medicine Clinic, is located on the hospital campus; physicians’
lounge at hospital with meals provided; 24-hour all-access employee gym on hospital grounds
All employed physicians receive full benefits including paid malpractice with tail coverage, paid health insurance in exchange for precepting medical
students and residents, an optional supplemental benefits package, paid house-hunting trips and
relocation allowance to Colquitt County, CME allowance/CME paid time off, paid time off annually
plus holidays, a monthly cell phone allowance, and generous student loan repayment assistance if
needed. Residents and fellows who make an early commitment receive a monthly stipend to help
with expenses through the duration of training, or candidates may opt for a sign-on bonus.
