Primary care Physician - Santa Fe NM
Pay: 300k per year plus full benefits. 4 weeks PTO. 11 federal holidays paid.
CME 3k per year.
(1099 pay $185 per hour).
Any state license works. This is a federal location.
New grads welcome.
BE / BC in FM/IM.
8am-4:30p clinic.
14-16 patients per day.
30 mins follow ups and 1 hour for new visits.
Capped at 16 patients per day.
Serving 100% Native American population.
J1 and H1 Visa sponsorship available.
Job Responsibilities
Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, hypertension, diabetes, preventive care, and more.
Wellness and Preventive Services: Perform routine physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive health counseling. Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and preventative measures to improve their overall health and wellness.
Chronic Disease Management: Develop and implement treatment plans for managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and others. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and steps for disease prevention. Ensure patients have a clear understanding of their care plan and health goals.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with medical assistants, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Emergency Care: Provide immediate care for minor injuries, infections, and acute medical conditions in a primary care setting.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System), ensuring proper documentation of patient care, test results, and treatment plans.
Patient Advocacy: Be a trusted advocate for your patients, guiding them through complex medical decisions and ensuring their healthcare needs are met with empathy and respect.
Follow-up Care: Schedule follow-up appointments as needed to monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and provide ongoing care for chronic or complex conditions.
Qualifications
A valid, unrestricted state medical license (any state is acceptable).
Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team.
Experience with RPMS is beneficial but not required.
