Permanent Physician - Geriatric Medicine

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. On average, seven (7) on-call days (evenings/weekends) with weekend telephone triage.
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Elderly individuals, age 55 and older, enrolled in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
- Setting: Outpatient and skilled facility.
- Responsibilities:
- Primary care provider for elderly participants, including assessment, care planning, and providing direct medical care.
- On-call duties for evenings/weekends with weekend telephone triage.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Medical procedures as needed.
Required Procedures: None specified.
EMR System: TruChart
Support Staff: Collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Days Per Month: Monday – Friday, with average on-call days.
On-Call/Weekends: Seven (7) on-call days (evenings/weekends) with weekend telephone triage.
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED
- Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine - PREFERRED
- Massachusetts license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration (prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly population - REQUIRED
- BLS (prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Clean/Clear malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- EMR TruChart experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
