**Geriatric opening in Great Falls, MT**
- Located 90 miles from Helena and 160 miles from Missoula
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent
- Hospital Employed
- Seeking a physician (Lifestyle, Functional, Geriatrics, Internal or Family Medicine) to assist in the development of an innovative healthy aging program providing services for aging adults in Montana, including preventive care, primary care, and subspecialty medical care.
- Collaborate with leadership in the formation of a collaborative care team, consisting of physician, advanced practice provider, and social worker.
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate medical services for adults 65 and older, to include both preventive care and chronic illness management, utilizing the principles of geriatric assessment.
- Provide accommodating medical care in various settings including patient homes, outpatient clinics, hospital, skilled nursing, and assisted living
- Additional opportunity to develop and present educational programs for medical students, interns, resident physicians, and ancillary medical staff.
- The ideal physician will be BE/BC in Geriatric, Family or Internal Medicine with a background of providing excellent primary care to patients
