Job Overview – Physician (Post-Acute Care):
Join our client's growing healthcare team in Philadelphia as a Physician specializing in Post-Acute Care! This role includes offering thorough on-site medical care to patients in post-acute environments, acute rehabilitation facilities, long-term care centers, continuing care communities, and assisted living residences.

Location: Armstrong County, PA
Compensation: $225,000 - $275,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-call once a week)


Responsibilities as the Physician (Post-Acute Care):
  • Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for patients, focusing on preventive care and health maintenance in long-term care settings.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of Nurse Practitioners to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Documentation: Complete medical records (EMR) documentation daily.
  • On-Call: Participate in after-hours and weekend telephone call coverage on a rotating basis.
Qualifications for the Physician (Post-Acute Care):
  • Licensing: Current, unrestricted DO/MD license in Pennsylvania.
  • Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or related Medical Specialties.
