About the Opportunity

Christus Health is seeking two Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologists to join our growing team, replacing a current provider (relocating due to spouse's job) and adding a 7th provider due to demand. We are located in East Texas - recently voted the #1 city in Texas by USA Today! Our established group serves a catchment area of 1.2-1.3 million patients across 26 counties, providing comprehensive endocrinology care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Practice Highlights

• Extremely busy practice with all physicians producing above the 90th percentile MGMA ($420k+) and outproducing their guarantee in under 12 months.
  
• Strong support staff with 1 dedicated MA and 1 dedicated NP per physician, including 4 diabetes educators
• Epic EMR system with robust infrastructure
• Comprehensive resources including on-site labs, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and thyroid imaging with fast turnaround times
• Full hospital and administrative support, allowing physicians to focus solely on patient care
• Our staff retention rate is an impressive 92%

Schedule & Clinical Role

• 4.5-day workweek: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm with half-day Fridays
• 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week
• 1:6 call rotation (improving to 1:7) - phone consultation only, NO HOSPITAL COVERAGE - rarely get a call or impact quality of life
• Patient volume: Average 20-25+ patients per day
• Diverse practice with focus on thyroid biopsies and comprehensive endocrinology services

Compensation & Benefits

• 12-month guarantee followed by productivity-based compensation (all providers have come off the guarantee in less than 12 months)
• Productivity model wRVUs paid monthly
• True-up at end of guarantee if production exceeds guarantee amount
