Location: A city located in the south-central part of Michigan. It plays an important role in the region both historically and economically. This city is situated about 40 miles west of Detroit and 30 miles north of the state line with Ohio.

Facility: A 475-bed acute care facility located in Jackson, Michigan, serving the south-central region of the state. This facility offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, and specialized medical treatments.

Opportunity:
  • Looking for 1-2 Locums Endocrinologists to help with their ongoing need!
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital Based and Outpatient Clinic
  • Dates of Coverage: April 2025 - onward
  • Inpatient need: Monday - Sunday onsite is 6:30am-3pm; remaining hours are night and weekend call
  • Outpatient need: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • Call Schedule: Bi-Weekly
  • Call Ratio: 1:2
  • Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 16 inpatients
  • Documentation System/EMR: Epic
  • Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma II - not applicable to endocrinology
  • Support Staff: APP support for IP Endo coverage. They are on site daily from 6:30am-2:30/3:00 pm.
  • The APP’s do not provide after hours coverage.
  • Board Certified
  • Is a Fellowship Required?: Yes
  • Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? Yes
  • Certification Requirement (BLS, ACLS, etc.): BLS,
