Facility in Jackson, MI seeking Endocrinology locums coverage

Rates: $275/hr

Position Details:

  • Start Date: April 2025 – Ongoing

  • Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital-Based & Outpatient Clinic

  • Schedule:

    • Inpatient: Monday – Sunday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM onsite, with night and weekend call coverage

    • Outpatient: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    • Call Schedule: Bi-weekly (1:2 ratio)

  • Patient Volume: 16 inpatients per day

  • EMR System: Epic

  • Trauma Level: Level II (not applicable to Endocrinology)

  • Support Staff:

    • Inpatient APP Coverage: Onsite daily from 6:30 AM – 2:30/3:00 PM

    • APPs do not provide after-hours coverage

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Endocrinology – Required

  • Fellowship Training – Required

  • Michigan Medical License – Preferred (Will consider providers needing to obtain a license)

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • MI-addressed DEA – Required

  • Clean Background – Highly Preferred

  • Availability: Minimum two weeks per month, full-time preferred

  • Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days
