Endocrinology opening in Tulsa, OK
- Full-time, permanent position

- Population Served: Adults (Ages 18 years+)
- Hospital Privileges: All physicians provide consults (Approximately 1-2 per week)
- Referral Pattern: 3 months out for new patients
- Three diabetes educators on site
- Urgent Care on first floor of building
- Specialist located within same building (Podiatry & diabetes education)
- ENT clinic is located across the street
- All providers use dragon and type their notes into Epic

Practice Support:
- Administrative Staff: Clinic Director/Office Supervisor
- Clinical Assistants: All providers have (1) medical assistant plus (1) medical assistant float position that rotates among providers
- Patient Service Representatives: 4 total for the office
Clinic Details:
- Number of exam rooms: 2 exam rooms per provider
- Office: All providers have their own office space
- Equipment: 2 Ultrasounds in department (Guided)
Schedule:
- Mon- Fri 8:00am-5pm (Providers work 4 ½ days )
- Visit times vary 15 minutes for follow up to 90 minutes for new patients (depending on physician)
Call:
- 1:7
- Hospital: Each provider takes call every 6 weeks for 1 week at a time
- Less than 10 calls in a week, few of which require going to the hospital In House-Hospitalists cover
Expected Volume:
- New patients: 1-2 per day
- Follow up patients: 10-20 per day- varies between provider preference
- Percentage of Diabetic vs. Endo will vary, depending on physician
