Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endocrinology Physician (MD/DO) who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has completed a fellowship in Endocrinology to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide expert consultation and comprehensive care for patients with various endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, and metabolic bone diseases. This position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment committed to excellence in patient care, research, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies relevant to endocrine diseases.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans, including managing complex cases with co-morbidities.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including consultation and follow-up visits, with a focus on evidence-based and patient-centered care.
  • Educate and mentor residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals, contributing to the academic mission of the institution.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of a Fellowship in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (New York).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to excellence in patient care and team collaboration.
