Job Responsibilities
Upperline Health is seeking a well-trained Endocrinologist to provide endocrinology care to patients in our lower extremity care clinic in Orlando.
This position will cover the entire gamut of Endocrinology care. Our doctors must demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Comprehensive endocrinology care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate care with our Podiatric Physicians and Nurse Practitioners
• Develop a network with local healthcare providers
• Manage care of our diabetic patients including wellness and nutrition education
• Maintain patient medical records and medical documentation consistent with state regulations and Upperline Health standards and policy
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Endocrinology
• Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Endocrinology
• Other related duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications
• Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Active medical license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Prior experience in an outpatient endocrinology setting preferred but not required.
