A non-profit in Orlando is currently seeking a licensed Endocrinologist for a great opportunity as a Lead Physician for the group.

About the Opportunity:
  • Specialty: Endocrinology
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours/week, no nights/weekends/call
  • Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities:

The Endocrinologist will:

  • Conducts comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses medical conditions, and develops individualized treatment plans
  • Provides primary care services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care
  • Offers specialized care in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
  • Serves as clinical lead for primary care, medical and gender affirming care across all 26Health service locations
  • Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals within the organization to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
  • Consults with specialists when needed for complex medical cases
  • Acts as a resource for fellow healthcare providers, sharing expertise in HRT or endocrinology
  • Educates patients on their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
  • Provides counseling and guidance to patients on lifestyle modifications and health promotion
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida
  • Board Certified in Endocrinology
