We are contracted with Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV to find temp to perm Endocrinologist. If you are interested apply or contact me directly.

Endocrinologist
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
● Performing routine examinations specific to orthopedic function and musculoskeletal
disease in the outpatient setting
● Hours 8-5 daily
● Approximate breakdown of responsibility, 100% Clinic
● No call is required
● Specialty Backups available Cardiology, Pulmonary, GYN, daily 8-5
● Patient Volume 10 per day Hopes of growth to 15-20 in clinic
● APP Supervision is potentially required
● Referrals for radiologic exam including prior authorization
● Performing hospital-based procedures and spine surgery
● Creating and managing patient treatment plans
● Observing patient outcomes--recommending changes to the treatment plan as
necessary
● Documenting all aspects of the patient experience via EMR
● Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout all aspects of treatment
● Adherence to medical state medical board guidelines, laws and restrictions

Duties:

Successful candidates will diagnose and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders
including diabetes, thyroid disease, endocrine cancers and tumors, calcium and bone conditions
and other conditions affecting the endocrine system in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to
obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in
Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology. Applicants must be board certified or eligible
in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at
the time of appointment.
