Facility: A comprehensive health facility offering a wide range of services focused on whole-person care, emphasizing both physical and mental well-being. The center provides various health services, including depression and anxiety screenings, individual counseling, and personalized care plans.

Opportunity:
  • ASAP 2024 start! Credentialing turnaround in 2-4 weeks
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No late clinic hours, no 12-hour shifts, no after-hours charting or call
  • Good work/life balance. Time built in for admin time.
  • Will travel between four clinic locations (will not typically work at more than one location per day)

  • Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating patients in order to meet their medical needs, particularly in regard to endocrine related diagnose
  • Advises, orders, and performs tests and interprets the results
  • Discusses diagnoses with patients, explains treatment options, and educates them on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures
  • Carries out follow-up appointments, monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment plans and medications, and updates patient records
  • Supports patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions by assisting with caregiver education
  • Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients
  • Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
  • Determines level of urgency of follow-up or referral
  • Documents all services in the patient’s electronic medical record
  • Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
  • Consults with Physician Lead, Chief Medical Officer, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues
  • Remains up to date on current practice developments, trends, research, and technology
  • Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
  • Assists in the development, production, and presentation of medical education, material, lectures, and mixed media presentations for patient and medical staff
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
  • Required Skills:
    - Specializes in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and focuses on patient-centered care
    - Experience in optimization of lifestyle to achieve optimal health for patients with diagnosis of obesity, diabetes, thyroid problems, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or other metabolic and hormonal disorders
    - Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
    - Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment
    - Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
    - Performs in a tactful and professional manner
    - Experience with electronic medical records
  • Physical Requirements:
