Endocrinology Physician Opportunity - Westminster, MD
**Position Details**
- Specialize in the management of diabetes, and treat thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis issues in the outpatient setting
- Call rotation is 1:4, with the vast majority being phone call coverage only
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
- Completed Endocrinology Fellowship; open to new fellowship graduates
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating adult diseases, with a focus on endocrine system and metabolism disorders
- Ability to perform inpatient consults on a rotating basis
- Skilled in advising, ordering, and interpreting appropriate tests
- Capable of discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and providing advice on medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures
- Competent in carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, updating patient records, and making referrals as needed
- Committed to staying current on best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology
- Timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing is required
- Ability to perform thyroid biopsies is required
