We are seeking an internal subject matter expert Endocrinology Physician Specialist to lead the development and expansion of our Metabolic Clinic within our Florida Region. As part of the specialty group network, you will be responsible for building and managing the program, overseeing clinical operations, and driving strategies initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes.

  • Work with CMO and VP of Health services to build a specialty care program.
  • Provide administrative and patient-facing support at a center level.
  • Provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders and metabolic disorders.
  • Implement best practices, monitor clinical pathways, protocols and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our "Care Teams" including primary care physicians, and mid-levels to coordinate care, provide support in our Value Based Care environment and ensure a steady flow of appropriate patient referrals into the program.
  • Conduct educational sessions, seminars, and presentations to increase awareness of our specialty care program services and promote best practices in patient care.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as referral volume, clinical outcomes, and conversion rates to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make data driven analysis.

Qualifications

Required Education

  • Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
  • A Medical degree in endocrinology.

Required Experience

  • Successful completion of a residency and fellowship.

Required Licenses and Certifications

  • Current unrestricted State Medical License.
  • Certification to practice endocrinology.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Current State D.E.A. Certificate.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions.
  • Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and medical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
