Our client in Albany County, NY is in need of a Full-time Physician (Endocrinologist) for an assignment!
Job details:
-Start Date: ASAP
-Shifts: Days + On call
-ON CALL: Hospital-they all rotate through the hospital, a few weeks out of -the year
-Clinic-rotate through, after hour service; Outpatient Clinic call is 1 in every 8- 10 weeks divided amongst APs and Physicians.
-Primarily outpatient responsibilities
-The practice provides diagnosis, treatment and long-term care for individuals with diabetes, and other endocrine and metabolic disorders.
-The multi-disciplinary team of Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators are dedicated to helping individuals with diabetes improve their quality of life.
-Specialized services include: complication screening, prevention and -treatment, medication management, foot care, smoking cessation, onsite -HbA1c testing, weight management and nutritional counseling, diabetes support groups, and individual and group diabetes education classes.
-Experienced candidates are preferred, but recent grads are also encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements:
-Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Endocrinology - REQUIRED
-NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
-Previous employment experience as Endocrinologist - PREFERRED
