Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to lead our established practice in Charleston, West Virginia. Job Responsibilities

• Physician leader position is responsible for developing and sustaining relationships that promote positive practice and patient satisfaction.
• Provide leadership to gain buy-in with internal and external stakeholders to promote and affect change in the Endocrinology service line.
• Build and maintain strong productive relationships with other providers both inside and outside the organization to grow divisional exposure with a reputation for excellence in medicine.
• Launch and manage improvement initiatives based on performance data and analytical insights to heighten operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Initiate, participate, and support continuous quality improvement activities.
• Develop strong and meaningful relationships with clinical and academic stakeholders to adopt best practice models of clinical and academic excellence.
• Create strategic planning initiatives for Endocrinology services and participate in recruitment and retention of endocrinology team. Provide functional leadership, performance management and coaching/mentoring

Qualifications

MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited program
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology
• Demonstrated leader with 5 years of clinical experience
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
• Eligible for an unrestricted WV Medical License
