COMPENSATION:
- $225,000 to $260,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area. In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more. Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will provide full scope endocrinology services in an outpatient environment. The physician will diagnose and treat a wide variety of endocrinology conditions with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- review patient histories and perform physical examinations
- conduct physical evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine diagnoses
- provide appropriate treatment and patient care plans
- diagnose and treat patients with a variety of hormonal diseases and conditions
- provide comprehensive diabetes care with available support of CDE/RD services
- recommend suitable management for patients
- prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
- provide patient-centered care incorporating psychosocial and physical needs
- participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings as needed
A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference for patient volume and types of appointments scheduled.
All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.
The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.
This position has no weekends, no evenings, and no on-call, providing excellent work/life balance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, Endocrinology
- 1+ year outpatient endocrinology experience
