**Endocrinology opening in Sioux City, IA** - 1 hour to Omaha, NE **Job Description:** - Opportunity to work with patients with diabetes on an outpatient basis. Providing diabetes education and management on an patients and families - Focus on planning, supervising treatments, and monitoring of diabetes related health concerns - Work in collaboration with Diabetes Educators from an ADA Accredited Diabetes Self- Management program - Coordinating care of patients with the patients primary care provider - Competitive compensation and benefits package Including signing bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME allowance, and time off - Onsite services (x-ray, lab, etc.) - 36 Patient Contact hours flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access - Full integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination - Ability to mold practice - Additional details by request from group **Responsibilities:** - Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve - Provide the best outcome for every patient every time **Qualifications:** - MD or DO - Board Certified - Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in the state(s) in which physician provides services - Eligible to work in the United States - Ability to work as a team member **About the Group:** A non-profit 900-member physician group practice serving 2,000,000 patients from 280 locations in Iowa and Illinois.
