- All day and evening shifts; no overnights
- Full time is 15 10-hour shifts per month
- Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day
- Adult and pediatric hospitalists do their own admissions
- Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts
