DESCRIPTION:
Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine physicians to provide coverage for up to 20 shifts per month on an ongoing basis. This is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
SUPPORT:
- APP support staff in Triage
- Full array of specialty backup with 24-hour MRI/CT availability
- 24-hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, ED psychiatric service
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have attended an ED residency program
- Eligible or board-certified in ABEM or AOBEM
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications required (AHA)
- We cannot accept Family Medicine board-certified physicians, even with ED fellowship or experience, due to Level 1 Trauma certifications
COMPENSATION:
- Competitive market rate (based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
