-Location: Northern, CA (two hospitals to choose dates from within 20 minutes of each other, only cover one hospital at a time)

-Certificate requirements: Board eligible or certified ABEM, active California license, ACLS, BLS, PALS

-Shifts: 10 or 12 hour

-Patients: 88% adult, 12% pediatrics, 90 patients per 24 hours

-Solo coverage (hospitalist order admissions)

-24 hour support: radiology, laboratory, OR team, anesthesia, general surgery, neuro surgery, cardio thoracic, orthopedic, vascular, cath lab

-Hospital: Level III trauma, general beds 144, ER beds 20, ICU beds 12

/September 15,15n,20n

-Shifts: 10 or 12 hour

-Patients: 84% adult, 16% pediatrics, 40 patients per 24 hours

-Solo coverage (hospitalist order admissions)

-24 hour support: radiology, laboratory, OR team, anesthesia, general surgery

-Hospital: Level III trauma, General beds 144, ED beds 8, ICU beds 4
