Job Description
Ocean Care Center in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, is hiring Board Certified / Board Eligible Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Position Profile:
- 20,000 total ED visits annually (3,000 - 4,000 are PEDS)
- 12 ED beds
- 24 hour physican coverage, 12 hour shifts
- Low acuity and very low volume after midnight
- Scribe and Advanced Practice Provider coverage until late evening
- EPIC EMR
- W2 status with comprehensive benefits package
- Affiliation with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University provides many opportunities for growth on an academic, clinical, and administrative level
Ocean Care Center is a satellite emergency department of Ocean University Medical Center and delivers exceptional treatment provided by emergency medicine physicians, nurses and technicians specially trained and experienced in emergency treatment. With the exception of trauma, it has the same capabilities as conventional Emergency Departments—with all the necessary personnel and emergency equipment.. As a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health System, Ocean Care Center can utilize the resources of the other Hackensack Meridian system hospitals to augment its own. Hackensack Meridian is the first healthcare system to achieve the coveted Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence. JCAHO accredited.
