About You:

You are a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine physician (MD/DO) passionate about delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced setting. You excel at the rapid evaluation and stabilization of diverse critical conditions across all patient populations – adult, pediatric, medical, surgical, OB/GYN, and trauma. Your clinical acumen allows you to efficiently manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing based on acuity. You're a skilled communicator, adept at obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performing focused physical exams, with meticulous documentation skills.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

-- Provide rapid evaluation and stabilization for a wide range of critical illnesses and injuries in all ED areas, including resuscitation.
-- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, physical exams (including pelvic, trauma, and pediatric as needed), and accurate documentation.
-- Efficiently manage a diverse patient load, prioritizing care based on severity.

Qualifications

-- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
-- Completion of an approved Emergency Medicine residency program.
-- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
-- Active, unrestricted Connecticut MD license (or eligibility).
-- DEA and Connecticut controlled substance dispensing certificates (or eligibility).
-- Proficiency with EPIC and AI scribe features

Working Hours

Per-Diem, as needed
