Percent (%) of ED Patients Transferred per Day: 1-2 pts per day
Trauma Level/Designation: None-we are a community hospital
Total Number of Beds: 44
Annual ER Volume: 55,000
Number of ED Physicians in Group: 11 total physicians of
Fast track in ED
Fast Track Staffed APP
Percent (%) of Total ED Volume Treated by Fast Track: 40%
Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers? APPs yes
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Does ED Staff Respond to House Codes? Yes
If Yes, are House Codes Secondary to ED Emergencies? Please Explain:
Secondary to ED emergencies, we have a response team. ED does airway on that team
Who Writes Admission Orders?: Hospitalists
Do Hospital Bylaws Require a Specific Response Time for On Call Physicians (List Time)? 30 minutes or less
Are Deliveries Received in ED or Sent Directly to Labor & Delivery? L&D
Is ED Responsible for Monitoring/Supervising Paramedics/Ambulance by Radio? Yes
Describe Referral / Transfer Protocol (Include Name of the Referral Center and Distance from your Facility): Transfer to STF as our Hub. Communication within the ED Departments
Ambulance Response Time & Travel Referral Facility: within 20-30 minutes
24 Hour Availability for Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray)? Yes
24 Hour Availability for Laboratory? Yes
Blood Bank - Certified by AABB? Yes
24 Hour Availability for the OR? Yes
24 Hour Availability for Anesthesia? Yes
