Physician - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 50-day locum tenens position at a hospital in Illinois. Starting 06/02/2025, this role involves working 12 shifts per month, primarily night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The assignment is expected to continue until a permanent hire is made, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of bread and butter Emergency Medicine cases in a non-designated trauma setting. This position requires an active Illinois license and proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide emergency medical care for a wide range of conditions

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in an emergency setting

• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals

• Utilize Cerner electronic health records system for documentation

• Ensure efficient patient flow in the emergency department

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician
