  • The ED is looking for full-time work (12 shifts/month including 2 weekends) or part-time (6 shifts/month including 1 weekend) and share of Holidays


Job Responsibilities

Evaluate Patients: Conduct rapid and thorough assessments of patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions.
Diagnose and Stabilize: Diagnose medical conditions and provide immediate treatment to stabilize patients.
Order and Interpret Tests: Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
Perform Emergency Procedures: Perform emergency procedures like intubations, sutures, wound care, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Coordinate Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, paramedics, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document Patient Care: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions and treatments.
Adhere to Protocols: Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and guidelines for patient care.
Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest developments in emergency medicine to provide the best possible care

Qualifications

ABEM/AOBEM

Will consider FP/IM with 2 years of recent ER experience-will need to provide Case logs

Hours- 6-3p, 1p-10p, 9p-6a
