- Other Details: This Emergency Medicine opportunity requires board-certified physicians (MD or DO) with at least two years of experience to provide coverage at a 329-bed facility in Pennsylvania, starting June 2, 2025. Physicians boarded in other specialties may work in the Emergency Medicine Department if their certification is current and they hold ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications, along with completing a sedation quiz. The emergency department sees approximately 54,000 annual visits, with 25% admitted (around 13,500 per year), and has 46 beds with 2-6 providers on shift depending on the time of day. Candidates must be flexible with shifts, which vary between 6 AM and 6 AM, and be available for at least two weeks per month. APP coverage includes 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM shifts. The facility utilizes Sunrise EMR and offers full privileges but does not have a trauma designation.

Job Responsibilities
- Interpret and manage a wide range of medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, cardio, and burn cases.
- Collaborate with a team of 2-6 providers per shift to ensure efficient patient care.
- Request patient admissions and coordinate with receiving units.
- Utilize Sunrise EMR for documentation and charting.
- Maintain required certifications, including ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine.
- Must hold Pennsylvania state licensure or be eligible to apply.
- Not accepting ABPS-certified providers.
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
- Completion of a sedation quiz for non-EM boarded physicians.

- Shift times vary and require flexibility:
- 6 AM - 3 PM
- 8 AM - 5 PM
- 9 AM - 5 PM
- 12 PM - 8 PM
- 2 PM - 11 PM
- 4 PM - 12 AM
- 4 PM - 1 AM
- 10 PM - 6 AM
- APP shift coverage:
- 7 AM - 7 PM
