Location: A small town located in the central North Dakota. It is known for its strong sense of community, outdoor recreation opportunities, and historical significance. Approximately 50 miles outside of Bismarck!
Facility: A comprehensive healthcare facility established in 1952 that has evolved to include a 22-bed Critical Access Hospital, a 28-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, and an attached Rural Health Clinic.

Opportunity:
- Seeking an APP to provide weekend ED/hospital coverage at a critical access hospital.
- Average of 7-8 patients per day in ED and 5 patients in the hospital to round on.
- Unrestricted call/call back.
- Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- 8am Friday to 8am Monday or occasional holiday coverage
- June 6th 8am to June 9th 8am
- June 27th 8a to June 29th 8a
- July 3rd 8am to July 4th 8am
- July 18th 8am to July 21st 8am
- July 25th 8a to July 27th 8a
- Aug 8 8am to Aug 10 8am
- Setting: Critical access hospital/emergency room
- Duties: Duties - Number of hospital patient's will vary, but currently the most would be 5 patients to round on, once a day, and vary from pneumonia, CHF, COPD, ect. Usually chronic comorbid condition management. Top 5 things seen in ED would be ab pain, chest pain, URIs (seasonal), musculoskeletal pain, and use as an urgent care. Patients per day, 5 during the winter months and 10 during the summer months on average.
- Days per month: Varies - one to two weekends
- EMR: Epic ED and hospital
- Support Staff: Support staff, Avel, 2 RNs, 1 NA, 1 radiology tech, and 1 lab tech.
