• Job Title: Physician - Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM)

• Case Mix: Emergency medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 17 (10 urgent care, 7 fast track, chest pain center)
• Trauma Level: Level III
• EMR System: Meditech Expanse
• Specialty Backup Available: OB, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Radiology, Pathology, Urology, Pulmonology, Surgery, Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Hospitalists
• Support Staff Available: Stable nursing staff, backup specialty physicians
• Reason for Coverage: Coverage needs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (Expedited locum privileges available)
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
• Licenses: Active Texas license required
• Certifications Required:
- ACLS & PALS
- ATLS (if not board-certified in EM)

• ACLS, PALS, ATLS (if applicable), NRP (physicians only)
• Experience: Residency completion required
• Other Qualifications: No telehealth experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care in a hospital emergency room setting
• Collaborate with attending physicians, APPs, and support staff
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emergency conditions
• Perform necessary procedures according to hospital guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies
