Emergency Medicine Coverage in Vermont
Coverage Needed: July 1st - September 30th
Schedule: Variable shifts, including 7am, 10am, 2pm, 4pm, and 11pm. Average of 34 hours/week, with variation in hours.
The provider will handle standard emergency procedures, including endotracheal intubation and central venous access, along with other resuscitative procedures. The average patient load is approximately 1.5 patients per hour.
Key Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BC/BE required)
- Experience with standard emergency procedures (intubation, central venous access, etc.)
- Ability to practice independently
- Willingness to supervise APPs if applicable
- EMR: Epic
Additional Information:
- No on-call requirements
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are not required if BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
- Provider will be responsible for direct patient care
